Job summary

Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT, part of Trinity Health Of New England, seeks an experienced RN for the ICU on a full-time night shift. The RN delivers care to critically ill patients, manages assessments, care plans, and hemodynamic stability, including sedation and invasive monitoring.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s degree in Nursing and CT RN license; ICU experience preferred. BLS/ACLS, etc., are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing is required
• Valid RN license in Connecticut
• Ideal candidates will have one or more years of ICU, Critical Care, or Step Down nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for Critical Care Patients, conducting assessments, devising care plans, and adjusting critical drips to ensure hemodynamic stability and appropriate sedation levels
• Attend to patients requiring advanced monitoring, heightened observation, utilization of invasive equipment, and administration of intricate medication regimens
