Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Connecticut is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Intermediate Care Unit on the 12 Hour Night Shift. You will provide direct patient care to high-acuity medical and surgical patients and coordinate nursing care for an assigned group of patients.

The role requires current CT RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and 1–3 years of ICU/Telemetry or Intermediate/Step-Down experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in Connecticut (CT).
• CPR/BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• 1-3 years of nursing experience; ICU/Telemetry/Intermediate/Step Down in ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care for an assigned group of patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and various interventions.
• Applies the nursing process to assess needs, plan care, implement the plan, and evaluate progress.
• Collaborates with physicians, other nurses, and the care team to ensure safe, effective, and efficient care delivery.

Education
