Job summary
AdventHealth in Winter Garden, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00 pm – 7:00 am) on a 36-hour schedule. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, patient and family education, and coordination with the medical team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
Candidates must hold an active RN license in Florida, with BLS certification; ACNS/CCNS or pediatric/neonatal certifications are preferred.
Qualifications
- RN license required in Florida or state of practice.
- BLS certification required.
- Acute/Critical Care CCNS or related certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans; evaluate and revise as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols; monitor for adverse effects.
