Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit on nights, with a 24-hour per week schedule. You will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with the Stroke Coordinator, and ensure confidentiality and safety of patient information.

The role emphasizes frequent assessments, telemetry monitoring when needed, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support acute stroke and TIA patients in a high-acuity

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with Stroke Coordinator and care teams for acute stroke and TIA patients.
• Monitor neuro/pulmonary patients with frequent assessments and vigilance.
