Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Neuro/ Pulmonary Stroke Unit RN. The role focuses on delivering patient care via the nursing process, coordinating with multiple departments and upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

You will support stroke and COPD patients on nights, with a 24-hour-per-week schedule, and are eligible for a premium night-shift sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state (or compact).
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in accordance with Mercy mission, values and standards.
