Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking an RN to care for Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit patients during night shifts (24 hours/week). You will use the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

The role requires graduation from a school of nursing (AD/Diploma/BSN), and an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact licensure, plus BLS certification either at hire or within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
• Performs duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
