Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join an acute care team in a full-time, night-shift role. Responsibilities include assessing patients, creating and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's in Nursing with 1+ year of acute care experience, BLS certification, and strong communication skills. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Sign-on bonus available up to $10,000.

Qualifications

• RN license and BLS certification required.
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.
• English fluency (read, write, speak).
• Ability to perform accurate assessments and develop care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and update care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure policy adherence.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and medications.
• Assist physicians with procedures and prepare for tests.
• Document care activities in medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement and research initiatives.
