Float nurses will rotate across most inpatient units, gaining varied experience while excluding pediatric, NICU, mother/baby, and OR areas. Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma; RN licensed in Nebraska or compact state.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work with variability across units and patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care with other health care providers for a designated group of patients.
• Adapt care to long-term, emergent, critical, acute, interventional, or procedural needs.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
