Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Omaha is seeking a Float Pool RN to deliver high-quality patient care across multiple medical-surgical units. The role requires adaptability to float among Surgical Short Stay, Oncology, ACE, Medical-Surgical, and ICU as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of RN experience.
• BSN or MSN required or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years.
• Current RN license in good standing; BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification training required by end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across medical-surgical units per patient needs.
• Float to diverse units including Surgical Short Stay, Oncology, ACE, and ICU as appropriate.
• Develop and implement care plans and communicate SBAR to the team.
• Maintain safety, standards, and professional conduct on all shifts.
