Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 12-hour night shift (7pm–7:30am) in Worcester, MA. The role emphasizes direct patient care within the nursing process, from admission through discharge, and coordination of discharge planning.

Applicants should hold an active MA nursing license with BLS (ACLS as required by unit) and demonstrate solid nursing knowledge. A BSN is highly preferred; a signing bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required for every RN; ACLS may be required depending on unit.
• At least basic nursing competencies and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individualized care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delivers appropriate delegation according to job description and competency.
