Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care during the 3pm-11pm shift. The role emphasizes the nursing process, assessment, discharge planning and coordination within the NSG Float Pool.

This is a non-exempt, evening-shift position offering integrated team support and professional growth opportunities. Current MA RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure for Massachusetts RN must be active.
• BLS is required for every RN.
• Preferred BSN degree for advanced practice or leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individualized care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care in the unit.
• Delegates tasks to team members according to competency and job description.
