Job summary

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Washington seeks a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg Float Pool, Night Shift. This is a full-time role (0.90 FTE) within the Resource Team, with a salary range of $56.92–$86.09/hour plus differential, under a collective bargaining agreement.

You will float across units, delivering direct patient care, coordinating with teams, and advancing your clinical skills in a mission-driven, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Active RN license in Washington or ability to obtain.
• BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care per professional standards and unit protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic patient care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Delegate tasks based on team members’ competencies.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and infection prevention initiatives.
• Stay current through ongoing education and professional development.
