Job summary

Community Health Systems’ Northwest Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shift in the Float Pool. This role may float to all four Northwest Healthcare hospitals, providing patient-centered care across units with emphasis on safety and quality.

The RN coordinates, administers medications, educates patients and families, and collaborates with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes while maintaining infection control and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Document patient care and education in the medical record.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety in all procedures.
