Job summary

Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, OH is seeking an RN Float for nights, part-time, to provide direct and indirect patient care across age groups using the nursing process.

Responsibilities include developing and evaluating a nursing care plan, exercising critical thinking to ensure safe, high-quality, age-appropriate care, delegating to team members, documenting accurately and timely, and collaborating with the healthcare team while adhering to policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for nursing education; BSN preferred.
• Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
• Current EKG Competency and ACLS required. PALS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct/indirect patient care across all ages using the nursing process.
• Develops and evaluates a nursing plan of care.
• Demonstrates critical thinking to ensure safe, quality, age-specific care.
• Delegates to appropriate team members; documents accurately and timely.
