Job summary

Advocate Health’s 35010 Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital – Family Practice is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). The role involves 4 twelve-hour shifts in a 6‑week schedule, with 2 weekend shifts.

The pay range is $38.20–$57.30 per hour, with benefits eligibility not included. Typical responsibilities include nursing process, patient assessment, and teamwork in a fast-paced unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engage in patient care using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and patient records.
• Promote safety culture and quality initiatives.
• Float to other units as needed within the service area.
