Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Family Center Care Unit in Fayetteville, NC. This full-time night shift role involves planning and delivering professional nursing care in a postpartum/gyne patient setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in nursing with NC nursing licensure (or compact state) and may have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Experience preferred; new grads welcome in a supportive Women’s Pavilion.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse or Compact state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements professional nursing care for patients in accordance with hospital policies.
• Administers medication as ordered by physician.
• Assesses patient care needs and plans, organizes, and evaluates care.
• Assists in maintaining a safe environment and appropriate patient records.
• Operates as charge nurse as assigned and coordinates interdisciplinary care.
