Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking a seasoned registered nurse to join the 4 North unit in Fayetteville, NC. You will provide professional nursing care, assess patient needs, plan and evaluate care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

The role includes charge nurse responsibilities when assigned and ensuring safe, evidence-based care. This night-shift position requires NC RN licensure (or compact state), an associate degree (bachelors preferred), and a commitment to patient-centered

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse or Compact state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and plan appropriate care.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Function as charge nurse as assigned.
• Maintain accurate and relevant record of patient care.
• Collaborate with Health System staff and medical staff.
• Support cost containment and accurate charging for patient services.
• Float to other Med Surg units as needed.
• Respect age-specific needs of patients.
