Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department Regional Float. This contingent role supports multiple units across the health system, offering varied clinical experiences and flexible scheduling with midnights shifts.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Michigan RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/ENPC/TNCC certifications, and the ability to float to different units while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Two years of recent clinical nursing experience in emergency department desired.
• Current Michigan nursing license; BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC certifications.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations within the health system; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple ED units via float pool.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and anticipate complications.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team for coordinated care.
• Orient rapidly to different units and care protocols within the float pool.
