Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, IL seeks an experienced Emergency Services RN for full-time night shifts (7p–7:30a) in Telemetry. Responsibilities include direct patient care, patient/family teaching, and timely communication with physicians about patient status.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid RN license, BLS, ALS, and PALS/ENPC certificates. Certifications like CEN and BSN are preferred; ECRN/MICN, NRP, and TNCC may be required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ALS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using nursing process in Telemetry.
• Direct patient care and patient/family teaching under nurse direction.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and care team.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
