St. Mary’s Hospital - Kankakee is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care in the Emergency Department during night shifts. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while coordinating with physicians and staff to respond rapidly to patient needs.

The role requires a valid RN license, BLS and ALS, with PALS/ENPC within specified timelines; CEN and BSN are preferred. The hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification required upon hire and maintained.
• ALS certification required within hire and maintained.
• PALS certification and/or ENPC within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
