Job summary

Sturdy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 36-hour night shift (7pm–7am) to optimize patient outcomes through compassionate, collaborative care. The RN will follow Massachusetts nursing standards, apply the nursing process, and work within unit guidelines to deliver high-quality care across all age groups.

The role requires MA RN licensure, BLS, and unit-specific ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications where applicable, with responsibilities spanning assessment, medication administration, care

Qualifications

• Graduate nursing program with active MA RN license required.
• BSN preferred; BSN required for Cardiac Rehab units.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP and PALS as specified per unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely responses to patient, family, and staff needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Regularly assess vital signs and document patient status.
• Administer medications per orders and protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
• Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Ensure adherence to MA Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies.
