Job summary

MidState Medical Center in Connecticut is seeking an Emergency Department RN for night shifts. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, you will provide patient-centered care using evidence-based practices, manage priorities in a high-volume ED, and contribute to a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in state of Connecticut.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Self-directed in the management of patient care.
• Previous Emergency Nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency services.
• Apply the nursing process to develop and implement plans of care.
• Maintain compliance with the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
