Job summary

MidState Medical Center in Connecticut is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our collaborative team. You will provide patient-centered care in a high‑volume ED, under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, utilizing evidence‑based practice and our EPIC charting system.

The role requires a BSN preferred and a current CT RN license, with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• Current RN license in state of Connecticut
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high volume environment.
• Self-directed in the management of patient care.
• Previous Emergency Nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in ED per hospital policies and nursing standards.
• Utilize nursing process to develop a plan of care to meet physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of patients and families.
