Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Elmhurst ED, nights position at Elmhurst Main Hospital. You will work 7:00pm–7:00am, with every third weekend and rotating holidays, totaling 36 hours per week.
The role focuses on delivering high-quality emergency nursing care and patient monitoring. Required: State of Illinois RN license, CPR, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS within 3 months, and a Bachelor's in Nursing (or ADN with planned BSN within five years).
Qualifications
- Requires 1+ years' experience in the emergency department unit.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing.
- If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Assess patients' condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress and document observations.
- Delegate appropriate patient care tasks and work as part of a cohesive unit to meet unit goals.
