Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, OH is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department (Nights, Part-Time). The role requires an Ohio RN license, relevant ED care experience, and flexibility to work varied shifts.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred) and active BCLS/NIMS/NIHSS/ACLS; PALS/TNCC may be obtained during the orientation period and first year, respectively. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, retirement, and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• Ohio RN licensure is required.
• BCLS, NIMS, NIHSS and ACLS can be obtained during orientation.
• PALS within 6 months of employment.
• TNCC within first year of employment.
• 2 years nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate patient care with unit staff, physicians and ancillary departments.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain professional nursing standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work across units based on census and staffing needs.
• Support the hospital's mission, vision and values.
