Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time, night-shift role in the 5 East Elective Surgery unit. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing is required.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date is required or can be obtained prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
