Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 6 West Med Surg unit in Warren, MI. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with 3-12 hour midnights from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., including every other weekend and holiday. A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is available for FT nights.

The RN will lead care coordination, utilize the nursing process, and communicate with the health care team to deliver compassionate patient care and ensure goals are met.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BCLS).

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and families.
• Communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
