Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a solid foundation of nursing care aligned with quality and safety performance improvement.
• Collects, assesses and documents patient health data accurately.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement a patient-centered plan of care.
• Prioritizes and delivers coordinated nursing care based on data and outcomes.
• Documents assessments and reassessments in the medical record.
• Provides education to patients and families about health status and care plan.
• Evaluates patient progress and updates the plan of care in collaboration with the team.
• Ensures unit throughput and adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.
