Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Float Pool at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN. This role will float to Med/Surg, Orthopedics, Oncology, Telemetry, ICU and ED, offering varied patient care experiences on a night shift (8-hour shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM) with every-other weekend and holiday rotations.

The Float Pool RN assesses, plans, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for diverse populations, collaborates with the care team, and adheres to MN

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) is required.
• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License is required.
• 1 year of RN experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Collaborate with patient, family and health team members to develop a nursing plan as part of an integrated plan of care.
• Develop an individualized plan based on age, condition and other relevant needs.
• Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patient, family and health care team to promote partnership-based care.
• Advise on evidence-based practice and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes.
