Job summary

Hartford Hospital's Bliss 11 Step Down unit seeks a registered nurse to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary setting. Under the Nurse Manager, you will apply the nursing process to plan care for patients with complex medical issues on nights, working approximately 36 hours weekly.

Collaborate with physicians, PAs and APNs, and follow evidence-based practices to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License required prior to Orientation.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN required).
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process for complex medical patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute the care plan.
• Maintain safety, adherence to policies, and high-quality standards on a fast-paced unit.
