Job summary

Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Iowa seeks a registered nurse to deliver care for medical and surgical patients, guiding teaching and coordinating with RT, PT, ST, and OT. The role includes floating to the Emergency Room and Outpatient Treatment Center as needed.

The position is a 0.9 FTE, 72 hours per pay period, with starting pay at $32.49/hour for ADN and $33.49/hour for BSN, with increases based on experience.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited program in professional nursing.
Current RN licensure in the State of Iowa.
Experience in health care setting is preferred.
Maintains certification in BLS; ACLS, TNCC and PALS required for ER/Med‑Surg.
Excellent verbal and written communication; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care for medical and surgical patients using the nursing process.
Direct and guide patient teaching and supervise ancillary personnel.
Collaborate with therapies to provide multidisciplinary care; float to ER/OPCT as needed.
