Job summary

Recovery Innovations seeks a PRN Registered Nurse for Nights at our Peoria, AZ Crisis - Recovery Response Center. The RN oversees medical, psychiatric, and nursing care, partners with an interdisciplinary team, and serves as clinical liaison until formal enrollment elsewhere. Shift is 7:00pm–7:30am; two 12-hour shifts per month.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid and current state RN license.
• Minimum of one year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions of medications prescribed.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to conduct assessments and treatment plans.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Trauma Informed Care experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.
• Travel required based on business need.
• Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.
• Successful complete and meet all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process if applicable.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Guest care & advocacy: coordinates services with health, mental health and social service agencies.
• Assists individuals with service planning and recording of the service planning process.
• Conducts assessments and treatment plans.
• Provides individual and family counseling.
• Participates in the development of educational curriculum.
• Supervises and/or provides nursing treatment and monitoring.
• Responds to crisis calls for assessment and intervention as needed.
• Coordinates relationships with outside medical and nursing support services.
• Administers medication as required by protocol and completes clinical documentation.
• Maintains compliance with regulations and Recovery Innovations policies.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes.
• Performs other related duties.
