Job summary

MIND 24-7 seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Night PRN crisis care in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on stabilizing patients in acute psychiatric distress within a fast-paced facility, caring for children, adolescents, and adults.

You will perform assessments, administer medications, document thoroughly, and participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning. This role requires an active AZ RN license and comfort in crisis environments.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona with no restrictions.
• 1+ year of psychiatric, behavioral health, or crisis care experience.
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a BH setting.
• Proficiency with EMRs and psychiatric documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical and mental health assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications per facility protocol and document accurately.
• Monitor, document, and report behavioral and medical changes.
• Participate in patient treatment planning as part of the clinical team.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatments, and medications.
• Utilize verbal de-escalation and therapeutic interventions in crisis situations.
• Follow seclusion and restraint standards with proper documentation.
• Apply SafeClinch techniques per guidelines.
• Document all patient care in a timely manner.
• Perform lab draws and provide wound care as ordered.
• Float among clinical services within the market as needed.
• Attend supervision sessions and complete trainings.
