Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Windsor Run community in Matthews, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts (7pm–7:30am). The RN will provide holistic health support, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and guide residents and families toward optimal wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience in caring for seniors or seniors with cognitive impairment preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families to support physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and standards of practice.
• Promote resident independence by educating residents and families on condition, medications, and self-care."
• Monitor residents to identify changes in status and respond to ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications per orders.
• Develop and coordinate a holistic care plan with the interdisciplinary team.
