Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Windsor Run community in Matthews, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts 7pm-7:30am (24 hrs/week). The RN will support residents and families by providing clinical care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as an RN.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform all clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and standards of practice.
• Promote resident independence by setting care goals and educating residents and families.
• Monitor residents' clinical condition and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to perform routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
