AdventHealth in Zephyrhills, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The role requires an Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred) and an active RN license. Expect to administer medications, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida (or eligible)
• BLS certification required
• 1+ year acute care experience preferred
• State licensure required for practice

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust as needed to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
