Job summary

AdventHealth in Zephyrhills, FL is seeking a registered nurse for night shift to provide patient-centered care in a high-acuity unit. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and document care in the EMR.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, mentor junior staff, and uphold safety and regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available for this role.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing required.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions and self-care strategies.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the EMR.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhere to infection control policies.
• Respond to life-threatening situations using established protocols.
