Job summary

Little Sisters of the Poor – Sacred Heart Residence in Mobile, AL seeks a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Night Shift, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM. The role includes supervising care, documenting meds, and coordinating with physicians and the nursing team. Weekend requirement every other weekend.

The RN will provide compassionate, patient-centered care to elderly residents while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Alabama.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor residents; adjust care as needed.
• Administer and document medications and treatments.
• Communicate changes to the care team and families.
• Supervise CNAs and nursing staff.
• Complete admissions, readmissions, discharges and change in condition records.
• Participate in resident assessments and care planning.
