Job summary

Rainbow Omega, Inc. in Alabama seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for night shift to provide overnight nursing care and clinical oversight for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You'll administer medications, monitor health, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with state licensing and facility protocols while coordinating with direct care staff. This full-time position requires an Alabama RN license and a commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license
• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or GED; nursing degree from accredited program
• At least 18 years old
• Experience with intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals preferred
• Clear pre-employment background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nocturnal nursing care and monitor residents’ health during night shifts.
• Manage shift-level clinical operations and act as the on-site medical authority for urgent health changes.
• Maintain meticulous medical records and ensure compliance with state licensing and ICF/IID regulations.
• Provide medical guidance to direct care staff regarding resident health needs and safety protocols
