Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital in Yakima, WA, seeks a dedicated Staff RN for a 0.9 FTE, night-shift position with three 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends. The role emphasizes nursing care within a multidisciplinary team and a commitment to professional development in a best-in-class nursing environment.

The successful candidate will hold a current RN license, BLS and relevant certifications, with BSN preferred and acute-care experience.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process according to hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care and patient experience.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families and health care staff.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
