Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Yakima is seeking a Staff RN to join our hospital-based team. This 0.9 FTE position offers an evening shift from 12p to 12a with rotating weekends and provides opportunities to utilize specialty training within a multidisciplinary care model.

You will be part of a system that emphasizes nursing ownership in clinical decisions, open communication, and strong professional development support to advance and impact patient care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State (or MLS)
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification as required by facility
• Specialty certification preferred
• One year of acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating continuously
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per policies and protocols
• Collaborate with nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families and staff
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds
