Job summary

Good Samaritan in Waconia, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process across all care phases. The role requires collaboration with residents and families, and coordination with an inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.

The Nurse may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, and ensuring safe, quality care within state practice standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or multistate licensure.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Coordinate care with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and implement care.
• May serve as charge nurse and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff as needed.
