Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Unit 5 on the night shift. The RN provides general nursing care to patients across diverse acute care settings, assesses health status, and plans, implements, and evaluates care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Collaboration with LPNs and UAPs is essential to deliver quality outcomes. Requirements include an Ohio RN license (or compact), BLS certification, and BSN preferred by 5 years of employment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license from the State of Ohio and/or multi-state compact.
• BLS certification; BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients across the continuum of care.
• Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments.
• Plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives.
