Qualifications

• RN licensure and clinical competencies in acute care.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• ACLS/PALS may be required depending on manager’s direction.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, professional nursing care to patients in the acute care setting.
• Develop patient-centered plans of care.
• Administer medications following the five rights of medication administration.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians to decide on best treatment decisions.
