Job summary

Bayhealth seeks a Patient Care RN for 3 West Med Surg at the Kent Campus. The role delivers direct nursing care during night shifts (7p–7a), with 72 hours per pay period and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with physicians to optimize outcomes. ADN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or nursing diploma required.
• RN-BSN preferred; CPR/BLS required.
• ACLS/PALS may be required per manager's direction.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, professional nursing care in acute care.
• Develop patient-centered plans of care based on needs.
• Administer medications following the five rights.
• Document patient care timely and accurately.
