Qualifications

• BSN required and Illinois RN license.
• ACLS, PALS/ENPC and TNCC within 1 year depending on role.
• ADN acceptable if pursuing BSN within 3 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and record patient status at admission and during care.
• Organize health data for accuracy and accessibility.
• Identify problems needing immediate attention and validate diagnoses with team.
• Document diagnoses and care plans to support outcomes and discharge planning.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family education based on evidence-based practice.
• Communicate with patient, family, and health care team about progress and plan of care.
• Ensure revisions to care plans are systematic and aligned with goals.
