Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s Backus Hospital in Norwich seeks a RN Clinical Services Lead to guide clinical teams during the 7pm-7am shift. You will oversee patient flow, ensure safety, and collaborate with leadership to maintain quality care across the unit.

Required are an RN license in CT, an associate degree in nursing education (BSN preferred), and strong leadership skills to drive performance and regulatory compliance in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing Education required; BSN preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut.
• 2 years of acute care nursing experience required; 1 year as charge or preceptor preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Additional certifications may be required in specific specialties.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead or direct patient flow to ensure safe and efficient care.
• Collaborate with unit manager and educator to monitor staff performance and outcomes.
• Support alignment with Hartford HealthCare vision, values, and leadership behaviors.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in emergencies.
