Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Active Connecticut RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the Nursing department on an assigned shift.
• Ensure delivery of direct and indirect patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Provide leadership for multiple hospital departments in the absence of the unit manager.
• Foster continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care outcomes and patient flow.
