Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Clinical Float Pool at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. The role involves floating to multiple departments and sites to deliver patient care across the Mercy Health markets.

Requires an active nursing license and 1 year of acute care experience. The position is full-time, night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with a 36-hour week and a $15/hour float incentive.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing is required; BSN is preferred.
• Current nursing license in the designated state of employment; BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable.
• 1 year of RN experience in acute care is required.

Responsibilities

• Float to various departments and sites to provide patient care.
• Assist in scheduling day-of staffing and travel or seasonal staffing as needed.
• Maintain patient care plans, document interventions and outcomes in EHR.
• Coordinate with clinical managers and health care team to ensure quality care.
