Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Clinical Float Pool at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital to float across units and sites as needed. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while remaining flexible to staffing needs.

Requirements include an active Ohio RN license, an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), and EPIC EHR experience. Night shift, full-time with travel among Youngstown, Boardman and Warren may apply.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in the designated state of employment (required)
• BLS/ACLS/PALS preferred at hire; ACLS or PALS required based on specialty assignment
• EPIC Electronic Health Record (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Tier 1: Float within a single site based on competency
• Tier 2: Float within multiple sites within a single market based on competency
• Tier 3: Float across multiple sites across more than one market based on competency
• Plans and coordinates nursing care using the best available evidence
• Formulates and implements a plan of care with ongoing evaluation
• Acts as a patient safety advocate and participates in quality improvement
